We are required by federal law to report accurately to the credit bureaus. If you received a negative remark by mistake, we will of course be happy to correct that. If, however, you made a payment late and received a late remark as a result, we cannot in good faith remove that late remark. We're so sorry about this. If you are very behind or delinquent on a loan, please reach out to us ASAP. We can get you on a payment plan, and as soon as you start making payments again, that will help to undo some of the damage to your credit score. We cannot undo the late remarks, but positive repayment will help your score.
