If we have requested that you verify your account, we will either ask that you submit a copy of your driver's license only or a copy of your driver's license and social security card (SSN). We take your security extremely seriously and have used encryption to protect whatever you send. Here are the requirements for sending those forms of ID:
- Driver's license/State-Issued ID must clearly show date of birth, name, and other important information. No smudges, blurs, or shadows, please!
- You may use a passport instead of a state-issued ID
- SSN Card must clearly show your name and SSN
If for whatever reason your state-issued ID or address do not match the state in which you applied, we may ask that you submit state proof of residency in the form of a recent utilities bill, rent payment, or other documentation that clearly shows you live in the state where you applied.
