When you are prompted to upload your identity documentation, we will need you to provide a clear image of your valid U.S. State or Federal issued photo ID. We take your security very seriously and use encryption and access controls to protect your information.
Acceptable types of photo IDs include:
- State driver’s license or identification card
- Passport, OR
- Other government issued photo ID
No smudges, glares, or shadows, please! Unreadable or blurry images may lead to loan cancellation.
If your identity document doesn’t meet our standards, you may receive notification via email to upload images of your U.S state or federal issued photo ID and social security card to a secure link.
If your identity document doesn’t match the state in which you applied, we may ask that you submit state proof of residency in the form of a recent utilities bill, rent payment, or other documentation that clearly shows you live in the state where you applied.
